New York Guard private's wool overcoat manufactured by Sigmund Eisner Co. of Red Bank, New Jersey. The wearer's left sleeve still retains its original New York Guard insignia; however, its private rank insignia patches have since been removed. It features original brass buttons, bearing The Great Seal of the State of New York with the "EXCELSIOR" motto. The lining is inscribed "N. Y. G. 3". It is a size 38R
